Regional Sales Manager – Embedded & Industrial Computing
Northern California (Remote with Travel)
A global leader in industrial and embedded computing solutions is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive growth across the West Coast territory. This is a high-impact role for a hunter with deep industry knowledge and strong relationships with engineers, buyers, and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and secure new business across embedded boards, systems, panel PCs, tablets, and network appliances.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to review specifications and propose tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and leverage competitive advantages.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Expand account base and drive year-over-year project growth.
- Engage with suppliers, partners, and internal teams to generate and follow up on leads.
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows within the territory.
- Develop channel business through franchised distributors and reps.
- Coordinate technical training for partners.
- Build strong customer relationships to foster mutual success.
- Manage customer and project lifecycles using CRM tools.
Candidate Profile:
- Based in NorCal, OR, or WA with willingness to travel frequently.
- Strong communicator and negotiator.
- Independent, proactive, and team-oriented.
- Proven track record in sales within embedded/industrial computing and networking.
- Technically proficient with system-level products.
- Skilled in project management and multitasking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
